We exist to remove one barrier: cost.
To remove financial barriers so Texas youth can participate in programs fostering confidence, leadership, and personal growth.
Why we started
Texas families want their kids in the game — on a team, in a troop, on a stage, in a robotics lab, at a livestock show. What gets in the way isn't interest. It's the registration fee, the equipment list, the uniform, the ride to practice. Those costs decide who gets to participate and who watches from the sideline, and that's not a decision a kid's talent or effort should ever lose to.
We exist to remove exactly that barrier. We work locally, with the youth organizations already doing the work, so support stays personal, accountable, and effective — without unnecessary overhead or red tape.
Four things, done well.
Cover Participation Fees
Registration and program fees paid directly, so a family's budget is never the reason a kid sits out.
Provide Equipment & Uniforms
When the gear itself is what's standing between a kid and the team, we cover it — cleats, instruments, uniforms, whatever the program requires.
Collaborate With Youth Organizations
We partner with the sports leagues, troops, bands, studios, STEM programs, and ag clubs already serving Texas kids, and remove the cost barrier at their door.
Run One Confidential Process
A single, centralized application handles every eligibility decision. Partner programs never have to judge their own families' finances — we do that quietly, once, on their behalf.
Board of Directors
Our board sets policy, oversees the foundation's finances, and holds the mission accountable to the families and partner programs we serve.

Mockup notes — what this page fixes (Kobold site audit, May 2026)
Fixed here: the live site had no board of directors, no EIN, no Form 990, and no governance signals anywhere — this page closes audit Important #5 and the audit's dedicated About-page recommendation (tell the story, say plainly what we do, put a face on who runs it). Every board name, EIN, and filing link here is a visible "[TBD — …]" placeholder, not a fabricated one; the client supplies the real slate and files.
Intended SEO: title "About Us — Who We Are & How We're Accountable"; description "Our mission, our board, our financials. A 501(c)(3) built to remove financial barriers for Texas youth — accountably."
